Welcome to my webpage. I've tried to include information that will help you to decide if counselling is for you. There is also information about me and my qualifications, my fees and booking appointments and how to contact me. There is also information about my current research interests. Please use the buttons to the left to find information.
I am Madi Ruby, a professionally qualified counsellor and member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). With several years experience working within the NHS in a GP surgery.
I have experience in helping clients who have experienced a wide range of difficulties including Abuse, Relationship Problems, Rape, Bereavment, Anxiety, Depression, Post-Natal Depression, Brain Injury, Epilepsy, Redundancy, Employment / Career issues, Self-Harm, Eating Distress and Domestic Violence. I have experience of working with trainee counsellors and I am also a Counsellor trainer.
Sometimes people think their problem is too big or too small for counselling. This is a common feeling. The best way to establish this is to come for an initial meeting at which we can discuss your needs. I am able to make referrals to other professionals and am happy to do so with your consent. We will only work together if we both agree we want to. I have included information on this site that may help you decide if I am the counsellor you are looking for, but do feel free to call to discuss this or to book an initial appointment.
